Description

The Muden headstone, dating from 1751, is located against the east wall of the south transept, approximately 5 metres south of the south wall of the nave of the Church of St John Baptist in Instow. This headstone is made of slate and features a nowy arch with two angels blowing horns. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth the Body of Elizabeth Muden died 1751."
