Description
This is a small cylindrical rubble stone structure located in the wall of the kitchen garden, situated 30 metres northeast of Northcote Farmhouse. It features a polygonal slate roof with a thatched apex. Near the base of the inner face of the wall, there are two rows of 28 square recesses above a circle of six larger square holes, all evenly spaced. The upper parts of the wall are laid dry. This structure is possibly an ash house and dates from the 18th century, with a 20th-century roof. Additionally, there are beeholes in the kitchen garden wall adjoining this structure.
