Description
This is a headstone from the 18th century, made of slate, located against the west wall of the south transept, approximately 1 metre south of the south wall of the nave of the Church of St John Baptist in Instow. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth in hops of A Joyfull Resurrection the Body of Ann ye wife of Mr John Jewell died 1781."
