Description

Alswear Bridge is a road bridge over the River Mole, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a single span with an unusually deep segmental arch. On the Alswear side, there is a smaller segmental-headed flood arch, which is probably a later addition. The parapets of the bridge sweep out at both ends and display significant signs of repair.
