Description
This is a barn with a horse-engine house and attached stables, likely built in the early 19th century, with a later extension to the barn. The barn is constructed of rubble and cob, topped with a slate roof that is hipped at the right end. The stables are made from rubble and feature a catslide lean-to slate roof. The horse-engine house is built of rubble and has a corrugated iron roof. The barn includes large double plank doors at the right end, set under a timber lintel, with an opposing door at the rear. The stables at the front have a loft door above the stable door, along with a square opening to the left. The horse-engine house extends to the rear and has splayed ends, with an intact horizontal winding beam.
