Description

The gatepiers and flanking walls, located approximately 150 metres northeast of Horwood House, are likely from the late 18th century. They are made of painted rendered stone. The gatepiers are square in shape with moulded caps that taper up to ball finials. These gatepiers are positioned at each end of low curved walls, which feature 20th-century wooden railings that lead to 20th-century wooden inner gate-piers. This structure marks the entrance to the drive leading to Horwood House.
