Description
The building is a stables, cartsheds, and workshop with a loft over, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a tiled roof with crested ridge tiles and gable ends. The structure is L-shaped, with the cartshed forming a short gabled projection at the left end of the stables. This gable includes an apex finial with a human head corbel.
There is a wide plank tripartite loft door with a cambered head above the cart entrance, which has two leaves. The stable range to the right has a raking roof leading to the loft doorway, which is fitted with a plank door. Below this is a Gothick pointed arched window with a 2-light casement, featuring two panes per light. To the right, there is a pointed arched opening with a plank door and another 2-light window, both framed by brick voussoirs. At the rear of the gabled projection, there are two 19th-century 3-light casements, each with eight panes per light.
