Description
The Tamlyn chest tomb, located approximately 7 metres south of the south-west corner of the Church of St James, is a Grade II listed structure from the late 18th century. It features a brick plinth and a slate slab that displays a figure of an angel blowing a trumpet, flanked by urns at the head. The tomb bears an inscription commemorating William Tamlyn, who died in 1796, along with other family members.
