Description

The Walrond tomb chest, dating from 1743, is located against the south wall of the chancel in the Church of St Mary in Kentisbeare. This tomb chest is made of stone with panels of slate. It features one panel on each end and three panels on the south side. The central panel displays the memorial inscription, while the panels on either side of it are framed with moulding, enhancing the prominence of the inscription panel.
