Description

The Farmer chest tomb, located 9 metres south of the Church of St Mary in Hemyock, is a Grade II listed structure dedicated to John Farmer, who died in 1767. It is made of Ham Hill stone and features fielded panels on each side and at both ends, with panelled pilasters only on the sides. The memorial inscriptions are rendered in script with lead paint, and the tomb is topped with a hipped slab.
