Description

This is a parish boundary stone located on Coble Lane in Lapford, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is made of granite and stands approximately 0.4 metres high. The stone has a flat top and a triangular section, with the front sides slanting forward. It is inscribed with the names "WORLINGTON" on the left and "LAPFORD" on the right in Roman serif capitals. The stone has weathered over time, making the inscription difficult to read in some areas.
