Description

This is a range of barns with an attached engine house located 50 metres south-west of Way Mill, dating from the mid-19th century. The barn is constructed of cob and is plastered, while the engine house is made of random rubble volcanic trap and features a hipped slate roof. There is a wagon entrance from the yard under a catslide roof, along with other contemporary openings and a 20th-century garage entrance. The engine house is a well-preserved example of its type.
