Description

This is an 18th-century cottage pair located in Ide Lane, Alphington. It was originally listed as numbers 16 and 18 within the former rural district of St Thomas. The building is constructed of cob and extends to two storeys with a four-window front. The windows are modern casements, with two and three lights. It has a thatched roof and a prominent external chimney built of red ashlar masonry at the front.
