Description

These are 18th-century cottages located on the south-east side of Cowick Street. They have rendered (plastered) frontages and contain small 18th-century sash windows. The doors are set in plain reveals. The roofs are covered with grouted slate tiles. Behind the cottages is a wing constructed of cob and timber framing. These cottages are historically linked and form a group with numbers 35 to 54 (consecutive) and the nearby St Thomas’s Church.
