Description

An 18th and 19th century sail loft, later converted into a dwelling house. The building features a Dutch gable, wrought-ironwork, and a stone gateway. The walls of the original quay or jetty are constructed of stonework and remain prominent. A rainwater head dated 1920 indicates the date of conversion. The structure is built of limestone and has a pantiled roof. It contains iron casement windows. The interior is modern, and the building is included on the list for its group value.
