The Fish Market is an open-sided structure built around 1838, supported by cast-iron columns. It features a timber Queen-post roof that is open braced and is covered with slate. Notably, the King's Beam is made of cast iron and bears the inscription "A and W C Bodley, Iron Founders Exeter 1838."
