Description

No 50 New North Road is an old fire station built between 1830 and 1840. It is a three-storey building with a six-window front that is set at an angle to the road. The ground floor features arched openings and pilasters above. There is a central niche and a pediment. The sash windows, which mostly have glazing bars, contribute to the building's character. The hipped slate roof is not visible from the street. The property is enclosed by a brick wall and gatepiers.
