Description

This is a headstone located approximately 2 metres east of the chapel of the Church of St Andrew. It dates from the late 17th century or 18th century and commemorates Peter Branskom. Made of limestone, the upright slab stands about 750mm high and features a square head with a moulded surround. The front of the headstone is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, detailing the memory of Peter Branskom, although the date of his death has worn away. A poem is inscribed on the reverse side.
