Description

Harcombe Farm Cottage is a 17th or 18th century, two-storey cottage made of stone rubble and cob, located at the end of a row of later outbuildings on Under Lane in Harcombe. The front of the cottage has been rough cast, and it features a thatched roof. A notable chimney of the local style has a vertical break to the flues. The cottage displays decorative use of rubble and Beer stone with weathered offsets. The windows have been renewed and consist of three and two-light casements. This cottage is part of the hamlet in Sidbury Parish, situated to the northeast of Sidmouth.
