Description

UNDER LANE, HARCOMBE 1. 1633 Harcombe Farm Cottage SY 1590 5/152 II 2. C17/C18 2 storeys stone rubble and cob cottage at end of row of later outbuildings. The front has now been rough cast. Thatched roof. Good chimney of local type with vertical break to flues. Rubble and Beer stone used decoratively, weathered offsets. Windows renewed 3 and 2-light casements. Part of hamlet in Sidbury Parish to north east of Sidmouth.
