Description
This is a headstone dated 1761, located approximately 6 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Cuthbert in Widworthy. It commemorates James Manley and is made of hamstone. The upright slab stands about 500 mm high and features a rounded top. The front of the headstone has a winged cherub's head carved in low relief above an inscription in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, which notes the death of James Manley in 1761.
