Description
Martins is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a modern roof added after a recent fire. It is constructed of plastered cob and stone rubble and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. The cottage is two storeys high and has been extended by one bay at the south-east end. The back of the building faces the road and has no windows, while the garden front includes a modern gable and casement windows. There is an oven at the north-west end, which has a lean-to porch adjoining it.
Inside, the cottage has a chamfered bressummer above the fireplace with chamfered stone jambs, and the ceiling beams are stopped chamfered.
