Description

The Peedesen headstone, located approximately 6 metres south-west of the porch of the Church of St Michael in Otterton, is a Grade II listed structure. This headstone, dated 1650, commemorates John Peedesen. It is made of limestone and features an upright slab that stands about 400mm high, with a square head and rounded corners. The front of the headstone is inscribed in large Roman capitals, detailing the death of John Peedesen in 1650.
