Description

Allhallows Chapel is a building located on the north side of High Street. It was originally a school chapel and has recently been repurposed as a local museum. The chapel was rebuilt between 1740 and 1750 and was damaged by fire in 1765. It is designed in a 15th-century style, featuring a Perpendicular rose window at both the west and east ends, along with a Tudor arched door at the west end. The sides of the chapel have rectangular four-light mullion windows. The west wall is constructed of knapped flints, while the other walls are made of flint rubble. Allhallows Chapel, along with Nos 73 to 101 (odd), forms a group of buildings.
