Description

The Church of St Paul is a parish church located on the north side of High Street. It was completed in 1838 and designed by architect Charles Fowler. The church is built in the Romanesque style and features an apse. It has seven bays with round-arched aisle and clerestorey windows, as well as galleries. The church underwent restoration in 1849.
