Description

LUPPITT LUPPITT ST 10 NE 6/75 Horway chest tomb approximately 1 - metre south of the Chancel of the Church of St Mary GV II Chest tomb. Dated 1730 in memory of Kezlah Horway. Hamstone. The chest tomb is rectangular in plan and has a soffit-moulded lide with a low-pitched ridge. Any plinth is now buried. Each side contains a panel with moulded frame and those on the long sides are flanked by pilasters each carved with a vase of flowers. The north side is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering and records the death of Kezlah Horway in 1730.
