Description

Ash House is located approximately 3 metres north of Poltimore Farmhouse and dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed from local stone and flint rubble, topped with a tile roof. This small gable-ended ash house features a window on the north-west side and a raking out hole on the south-west end. Together with other farm buildings, it forms a group of attractive traditional farm structures near Poltimore Farmhouse, which is one of the oldest and best-preserved farmhouses in the area.
