Description

Number 9, The Green is an 18th-century, two-storey building with a stucco front and a brick structure. It features a hipped slate roof and has three windows on the first floor. The ground floor has two arched recessed windows flanking a central door, which has a plain arched fanlight above it. This entrance is sheltered by a cast iron porch supported by pairs of columns that are connected by a diagonal pattern and shaped distant pieces, topped with a concave curved roof. Access to the building is via seven steps with round bar guard rails. The interior includes contemporary fireplaces and other features. Numbers 8 to 16 on The Green form a group with this building.
