Description

The Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed from painted rubble stone and features a thatched roof with end wall stacks. The building has two storeys.

On the north front, it is double fronted and has 20th-century windows in eyebrow dormers above a central door that is set in a gabled porch below. There is a lean-to at the west end. The south front is similar, with two eyebrow dormers and three-light casements with top lights on the ground floor, flanking a blocked door and a single light window. Inside, there is a fireplace with a timber lintel.
