Description

The Green Cottage is an 18th-century house located on Nettleleton Green in Nettleton. It is built of rubble stone, which was formerly rendered, and has a thatched roof with ridge and end wall stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The upper floor has three paired casement windows. The ground floor features a three-light window, a two-light window, a doorway, and another two-light window; all are replacements from the 20th century, with timber lintels. A straight joint on the left side suggests the original cottage was double-fronted, with two windows. A rear eyebrow dormer is also present.
