Description

Nos 1 to 3 George Lane are 18th-century buildings located on the south side of the street. The ground floor is constructed of flint with some rubble stone, while the first floor is made of red brick featuring some grey headers. The buildings have a hipped tile roof, and No 1 has an old brick stack. They are two storeys tall and include four ranges of casement windows, although No 2 has modern windows. No 1 features a planked door, and No 3, which serves as a smithy, is built of red brick with a modern hipped roof, a stable door, and one fixed window. Nos 1 to 3 form a group with Nos 1 to 8 and No 20 Salisbury Road.
