Description
Avon Side is a late 18th-century building located at the end of a lane to the west of Stratford Road by the River Avon. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick with an old tile roof that has a gable end. The building features a brick dentil eaves cornice and has a symmetrical three-window south front, which includes modern metal casements with small panes. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door situated under a gabled brick porch. To the west, there is a lower two-storey wing that has an original two-light leaded casement on the first floor and a modern French window on the ground floor. The roof of this wing extends over the ground floor at the rear, where there is a central panelled door flanked by wooden casements. The east gable end retains earlier leaded casements.
