Description

Hilden is a house that appears to date from the 19th century but incorporates features from the 17th century. It is constructed of squared rubble stone and has a slate roof, with coped gables and end wall stacks. The building has two storeys. The front elevation features a single range of windows, including a 2-light recessed chamfered mullion window and a ground floor window with a hoodmould. To the right, there is a door set in a chamfered doorcase. The rear of the house is made of rubble stone up to a dripcourse, with squared rubble stone above. It has an upper single light window and a ground floor 2-light flush cyma-moulded window, along with a blocked 2-light window that also has a hoodmould.
