Description
The Old Parsonage, dating from the 16th to 17th century, is a two-storey building located on Harnham Road in West Harnham. It features a brick construction with bands of flint and stone on the ground floor, while the first floor is tile hung and has a timber-framed west end. The building has a steeply pitched hipped roof covered in old tiles, which is slightly lower at the west end. A tall brick chimney is situated at the west end. The windows are irregular modern leaded casements, with six on the first floor and additional ones on the ground floor, including a rectangular bay window with a shallow hipped roof. A small projecting brick porch with a half hipped old tile roof is also present. The timber-framed west end includes superimposed leaded rectangular bay windows. The Old Parsonage and its outbuildings form a cohesive group.
