Description

This is an 18th-century farmhouse, with later alterations, constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. It has coped gables and end stacks. The formal front facade is two storeys high and features five windows. It includes ashlar flush quoins, a raised band, and a coved eaves cornice. The windows are 12-pane sashes set within moulded architraves. A central 6-panel door is contained within a similar surround. A 20th-century lean-to porch has been added. A parallel rear range has been built up from what was originally a lean-to. Spearhead iron railings sit on a low, curved ashlar plinth in front of the property.
