Description
The stable located to the south of Little Thornham Farmhouse dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with brick dressings and features Bridgwater tile roofs. The building has two storeys and consists of two sections. The northern section appears to be the earlier of the two, characterized by brick quoins and a half-hipped roof. Each floor has a 2-light beaded stone mullion window, both with brick sides. The southern section projects on the east front and also has brick quoins, with a door to the left, a 2-light beaded mullion window to the right, and a circular pitching-eye above.
