Description
The Brewer monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 1 metre east of the Morgan monument and south of the southeast corner of the Church of St. Bartholomew. It dates from around 1845 and is constructed of ashlar stone set on a moulded base. Each side features a recessed plaque, which is flanked by Gothic recessed panels that have quatrefoils beneath them. The tomb has a stepped topstone, and on the north side, there is an inscription dedicated to W.J. Brewer, who died in 1844.
