Description
The Newman tomb, located about 7 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St. Andrew, is a chest tomb dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a single fielded panel with fielded side strips on each side. The tomb has baluster corners, a moulded base, and a capstone, with mouldings that are broken forward over the central panels. The top of the tomb is gadrooned. It is situated in row 1, east of the churchyard path.
