Description

Town Bridge is a bridge over the River Thames, built in 1854. It is constructed from limestone and features a rubble parapet and end piers. The bridge has a single arch spanning the Thames and a smaller side arch on the north side that was used for a former mill leet. There are panels on both the east and west sides of the bridge that commemorate its rebuilding by the Feoffees of the Wayland Estate in 1854.
