Description
These are two houses, dating from the mid to late 17th century, now combined into offices. The upper floors are painted render over limestone rubble, while the ground floor is limestone rubble with a 20th-century concrete lintel band. The front has a forward-facing gable and a 20th-century plain tile roof. The building has a right-angle plan with a cross gable facing the front.
The building at numbers 7 and 8 has an attic window, a two-light casement window, and a 20th-century door. Nos. 9 and 10 form one building with a stone slate roof and two hipped dormers, each with a 19th-century two-light casement window and stone-slate-hung cheeks. The internal plan is of two units with a central entry.
The symmetrical two-window range of Nos. 9 & 10 has 20th-century three-light windows with concrete lintels and a 19th-century six-panel door with a timber hood on brackets. A stone quoin on the left side is largely stone, but has brick at the top, suggesting a raising of the roof. The right return is rendered.
The interior has been altered, and the roofs are not visible.
