Description
The Old Farmhouse is likely from the 16th century, although it has undergone significant alterations. It was originally a manor house. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble and has a stone tile roof. It is two storeys high with three bays. The windows are modern casements with cement lintels, with one timber window. An angle buttress is present on the left-hand corner. Two modern, weathered buttresses flank the central door, which is also of a modern design. A side door is located to the right. A large external chimney is visible on the left. A very large chimney, incorporating stairs, is situated in the angle of an 'L' shaped rear extension and features two diagonal brick shafts.
