Description
The wall and archway located to the west of The Old Vicarage, approximately 50 yards long and immediately north of the lych gate, date from the 1820s or 1830s. The structure is a high rubble wall that varies in height from 7 to 12 feet. It features a Tudor arch gateway with panelled spandrels and lozenge stops to the label on the south-west side of the house. The modern battened doors to the arch are not considered of special interest. The wall serves to screen The Old Vicarage from the west, extending to the lych gate of the churchyard.
