Description

Dormer Cottage is a late 17th-century building, originally two houses that have been combined into one. It was altered and restored in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exterior is rendered, with a steeply pitched roof of Cotswold stone slates. The building is two storeys high, plus attics accommodated within hipped dormers, and has three windows and a door on the ground floor, and two windows on each upper floor. The windows are casements with two or three lights, featuring lead cames. The central door is a 20th-century addition. Inside, a dog-leg staircase is located to the right. A fireplace has an ashlar surround with a chamfered four-centred arch and a wooden lintel.
