Description
No. 7 High Street is a mid-18th century building constructed of rubble with a double Roman tiled roof. It stands three storeys tall, featuring dormers and three windows with glazing bar sashes set in moulded stone architraves. The dormers were added in the 19th century. The ground floor has modern bow windows, and the walls between are rendered. A central porch is supported by engaged Tuscan columns and topped with a pediment, leading to a six-panel door with a fanlight. The building also has side pilasters and a fluted frieze with a cornice and parapet.
To the left, there is a two-storey wing with one window. This wing features a Venetian window on the first floor and a coach entry on the ground floor, with a pilaster at the left adjoining No. 50.
