Description
The Rectory is a building dating from the early to mid-17th century, which was remodelled in 1801. It features a rendered exterior and a pantile roof with coped raised verges, a coped parapet, and a moulded eaves cornice, along with rendered stacks. The structure has three storeys and three bays, with 2- and 3-light casement windows that have Gothick glazing and are set under segmental heads. The left window on the ground floor is a 3-light casement with pointed heads, hollow moulded freestone mullions, and surrounds, topped with a dripmould.
There is a projecting square porch with panelled and glazed lights. To the left, there is a single-storey, three-bay billiard room that extends back, featuring a hipped slate roof, a parapet, and a moulded cornice, along with three glazing bar sash windows that have external blind boxes. A screen wall with a lean-to greenhouse is located on the right side. The west gable end includes a 4-light freestone cross window with pointed heads and hollow moulded mullions and surrounds. The central first-floor window at the rear is a 4-light wooden casement with ovolo moulded mullions.
Inside, the property has chamfered beams with scroll stops and an open well stair with turned balusters.
