Description

Manor Farm House is likely a 17th-century detached house. It has rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, with stone stacks. The house is one storey high, with attics. A part-glazed door stands alongside a blocked doorway. The ground floor features two casement windows with glazing bars, and one fixed window. Three dormers, each with a casement window matching those on the ground floor, light the attic space. A lean-to extension on the north side has a tiled roof and a part-glazed door. A garage extension to the south is also covered by a tiled roof. Inside, some ceiling beams are exposed. The building is reputed to have originally served as the Rectory. It is recorded as RCHM Monument 9.
