Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the 16th century that was extensively remodeled in the mid-19th century. It features coursed rubble and render with ashlar dressings and has a gable-ended slate roof with end brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has four window bays, which contain 19th-century sashes with glazing bars. The front door is adorned with a round, radiating fanlight. On the west wall, there is a blocked single light, stone, square-headed window, as well as a doorway with a moulded four-centred head. The gables are topped with stone coping. According to C. W. Dale, the farmhouse was considerably spoilt in the 19th century.
