Description

No. 108 on East Street is a house in a terrace, entered through a passage at the rear. It appears to have been built around 1780, contemporary with No. 104. The building features coursed rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with a brick stack that it shares with No. 110. It has two storeys and an attic. The entrance is a 20th-century door set in a simple classical surround with projecting ashlar jambs and a moulded capping. Both the ground and first floors have one metal casement window each, which have replaced the original sashes. The attic includes a gabled dormer with a similar casement window.
