Description

Nos 31 to 37 on Barrack Street are late 18th-century buildings made of red brick, featuring rubber brick voussoirs and a hammer dressed stone plinth. They have a pitched slate roof and red brick stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and include three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars, along with one range of casement windows also with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two trompe l'oeuil windows. The ground floor has four modern doors set in deep reveals, each with a blind semi-circular fanlight. Nos 21 to 37 form a group.
