Description

The Brace of Pheasants is an inn that was formerly two cottages, likely built in the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and is whitewashed. It features a thatched, gable-ended roof with brick stacks at the ends of the original cottages. The inn is one and a half storeys high and has approximately eight window openings. The windows include 2, 3, and 4-light casements with glazing bars, some of which are set under segmental brick heads and others under wooden lintels. The structure has been significantly rebuilt following a recent fire.
