Description

No 16 is a cottage, probably built in the mid 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with brick quoins on the right side. The building features a gable-ended thatched roof with brick stacks at each end. It has two storeys and a two-window range. The windows are 3-light 18th-century wrought-iron casements with leaded lights, with the ground floor window on the left being a 2-light version. There is a 20th-century double, part-glazed porch. The cottage was once converted into two separate cottages.
